About Dr. Diogo Viegas
Dr. Diogo Viegas is a prosthodontist practicing at DV Clinic in Lisbon, Portugal, with a clinical and academic focus on biomimetic restorative dentistry — an approach that prioritizes preserving natural tooth structure and function over more invasive, purely mechanical solutions.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Viegas teaches and lectures internationally, sharing adhesive and minimally invasive restorative techniques with fellow dental professionals. His approach draws on the same guiding philosophy shared by the global biomimetic dentistry community: observe, preserve, and conserve dental tissue, in order to better serve the patient.
"Let nature be your guide." Every restoration should aim to rival what nature already built — not replace it wholesale.
